i have a lawnmower motor and rear end out of a craftsman lawn mower. the mower motor is a Briggs & Stratton 14 horsepower synchro-balanced over head valve motor its in good shape alls it needs is maybe a starter the rear end is in good shape too i got the lawmmower out of a junkyard the guy used...

ok i hit a pot hole and i broke my spindle mount clean in half the bottom part of the spindle just broke clean off.....im wondering how i should fix it should i put a thicker peice of metal under it and weld it back togeather.........heres a pic........

i have made myself an aluminum exhaust pipe and i cant get it to stay on to theexhaust moiunt....ive tried soldering and welding but the solder dident stick very well and i couldent get an arc with the welder.....any ideas????!!!:mad2:
