Most who have the gov in, just attach it to the throttle plate... That link above, is meant for when the gov is taken out. It attaches directly to the butterfly valve itself. For the most part.. it's not even nesisary when pulling the gov.

The end as milled is called a spline. It will be probably diff specific as they are not all treated equally.

You have the motor independent from the swing arm. The best approach with this rear end, would be to have the motor/jackshaft/swingarm all on a swingarm assembly.. they would move together unhindered and when setup right, a harmonious movement.

Disconnect the fuel tank, empty and check/clean the filter in the bottom of the tank. Sometimes it slows the rate of fuel it requires, as it gets dirty from gunk in the tank.
