Kart identification needed and engine suggestion.

Anyone ID brand or model of this kart?

The mounting plate is on the wrong side of the sprocket?

What little engine will fit in here?
How do I make this work?

I think that thing used have a little 2 stroke motor....like 49(or less)cc trimmer type motor.

Yep, I agree with mckutzy on this. Made in China, it would’ve originally had an itty bitty 2 stroke.
If you want to use anything other than the factory 2 stroke, you’re going to need to either weld or bolt in a proper mounting plate and hope a big 4 stroke will fit.

Note- the little gas tank is another telltale sign.

Never seen that chassis before but you dont have a whole lot of room back there for an engine. You could go for a predator 79 but those are kinda underpowered. You might be able to relocate the gas tank to the front of the kart and fit a 212 more to the right

The 212 won’t fit on the plate. Thanks for the replies.

The 49cc engines will fit the plate, but the alignment with the sprocket is now my trouble.

A 49cc motor isn't going to do well at all with an adult on the kart
