    Those are the wrong wheels intirety.. they are a driven wheel. They are meant for a cart or hand truck... They will not handle any applied power. You need to find a more common size 3/4" or 1"

    Any bearing shop should have a 2 hole bearing for that... A biggest question is... IS that the axle you are using??? Redyrod isnt a good choice to be using for an axle... you need a key shaft??? Let see some more pics of your setup...

    First of all... That looks like a typical cent clutch which has a bronze oilite bushing... that is supposed to be lubricated by oil.... Why oh why did some one add a grease nipple to the shaft...(I know the PO probably did) this is the reason why the smoke is occurring, as it has partly ruined...
