bowl is filling. What is carb throat?

Inside carb. If bowl overfill, it will be inside carb. You should be fine. Best to check at this point.

Ok, will run now with choke on. Choke off it dies even after letting it warm up for a few minutes

Double check gaskets not leaking, air/vacuum leak.

Let run while spraying carb clearner Or brake cleaner around gasket areas. Listen for engine to die.

I’m running! So far so good. Next question, thought it would be faster. Still fairly slow

There's a throttle stop screw, between air box and blower housing. take it out, or back it out farther.

You might not be getting full throttle. You will know more when you get that tach/temp gauge on.

I know the pred carbs are crap, but that's ridiculous for a new engine. I've had over 50 on the stand and not seen that yet.

If it's happens again, jus pick the back of the kart up and bounce it off the ground a few times. That's why I was trying to get you to blow air thur it, to get that needle to fall off the seat.

It'll probably not give you any more problems.

Ok, figured it out! I put the new torque converter/driver I bought from Amazon on. Holy cow, that did it! Doubled the speed. Easily 35 plus.

Oh you jus givin 'er a lil tickle

We havnt even adjusted the governor yet.

Jus wait til you get that flywheel, advanced key, driver springs, open the main jet a bit, and head gasket changed.

You'll be changing to a higher gear, to calm 'er down.

Speaking of gear, what's the teeth count you have now, and driven size???

A lil lean on the high side. That's normal for stock carb with stock main jet
