While l was MIA for a few days Egor came in and worked some. Looks like he has the engine mount/ coupler mocked up and ready for the next step. We found that genuine Lovejoy couplers are expensive, so the Jungle supply yielded a 洛夫喬伊 instead.

the old belt drive was close to 1:1 so nothing has really changed. The speed control/governor has been surgically implanted into my right foot. Actually l’m worried about everything on this POS working.

Static test #1 began today @ 13:05
This was a secret test (as are most here @ the Mt. Top). If the public were to be notified, the throngs of people lining up to watch would cause a traffic nightmare!
The results were disappointing.
@13:06 the ignition coil failed resulting in a no fire condition.
@13:07 the fuel delivery system developed a serious leak resulting is the test to be canceled.

Our parts supplier has been called into a meeting to explain this situation. It was then determined that the parts in question were salvage as was the complete power unit.
New parts are on order and static test #2 will commence on a date to be announced.

I know its not for the same kart, but you go fixen that with J B weld and you might find that new " shaft " someplace that ain't real comfortable.
