Just make sure it's a #35 chain sprocket...

I can see 12 nubs.... Im going to guess thats a #35 chain..... that would go well if the rear is a #35 aswell.... What is the tooth spacing on the large sprocket???

NO... itll need a minimum of a 212... more like a 420...

Take a better look with the chain off... and see how many nubs if any are there to see what the same tooth count is.... What is the larger rear sprocket too count....

I'm having an odd return key issue... Even as I write/type this... It does it... To make a new sentence line, return key causes it to return to new line and collapse the keyboard.. EFF-ING frustrating on mobile device.

I'm surprised it even moved... The sprocket has had the teeth ground off... Going to guess that it had teeth to begin with... And now doesn't???

Thats a good question.....One unfortunately I dont know....(and I know alot about those brakes types)... I can only say is, get another gr8 or 10 at the hardware store.... check all the fine threads and metric..... ....Do another good look around... it might turn up....

In these engines... Over the last 10 years here... I haven't heard of issues described, as a fault of valve float...

NO.. don't use red locktite on the shaft bolt.. That will be more or less permanent... And he won't have any choice to cut off the clutch....if he needs to remove it...

If it has the stock springs.... itll retard the engine speed, before the threshold of con-rod detonation... Hence the valve float....

You might need to hog out the holes to allow it to move over to get better alignment...

V belts are completly the wrong type of belt for this..... this is a tc belt...

Woodruff is a completely different key type....... Im sorry, I thought we were talking about typical straight shaft keys..... PIcs of said shaft???

Thats looking good.... If you dont have that cage for it... don be using the seatbelts.... You dont want to be trapped underneath in a flip over, while unable to escape... no cage-no belts/cage-belts

For optimum performance... After 3 months... Gas goes bad... It starts to gell or lacquer up, more or less... Not good... Get as much gas as you'll need for a bit... Then it'll "last longer"...

That motor is relatively under-powered for this machine... with that being said... might need to increase the rear sprocket size... but that might be easier said than done.... Are you oiling the clutch every 2 hrs of use??? Is the foot throttle moving smoothly to the throttle plate??

The shaft key is just a square bar 3/16 or 5mm however long... normally can find what is called key stock(about 12" long) or individually cut keys... Amazon or the like will have them cheap....
