Sometimes tapping one end down with a punch allows the other end to pop up. If it pops up, pry under the lifted end with a small screwdriver then remove it.

I've worked on and sold a few of these machines, most of them had melted belts. Seems to be a poorly designed cooling setup. I quit dealing with them. Too heavy to move around, hard to start if they sit for a while, electrical problems. They're fun to ride when they're working okay but a PIA...

Those belts get hot then turn gooey after a while. Keep your tires inflated, don't jam the gas pedal to the floor and get premium belts. Asking a belt to drive those huge buggies is asking a lot. Try not to overwork the clutch or belt.

Meant the black & green connector is for the electric auto choke. (I think)

Pretty sure the black & green connector is for the coil, blue & white wire comes out of the stator, it's the spark trigger wire.

Does it crank but not start or does it not crank? See if this helps.

Sometimes using a small pick under the edge of the stuck key and tapping it up and out with a light hammer works. Take the wheel to a hardware store & match up the key. They should have a few options. Try cleaning out the groove in the wheel. Maybe there's some build up in the groove. A small...

It fits the axle but not the wheel? If you need a hammer to install a key something isn't right. Do you have the key from the old axle? Try it if you still have it. Have you talked to the vendor?
