What is the best type of welder to use on go kart frames? does the type of metal matter? im really new to welding and am wondering if anyone can tell me some basics?

Is their a way to test compression without disassembling my motor or without any special tools?

Is their any routine maintenance im supposed to do to my clutch? sometimes it will smoke because its getting hot but i dont know if thats normal or not?

i took the screw with the spring behind it out and noticed it was not as pointy as it used to be, could this be the problem?

i didnt think it need to be cleaned, we take the gas out when we store it and it still looks like its new, pretty much better than the carb i just got professionally cleaned on my go kart. any ideas how i could seal it without buying a new rubber piece?

could it be getting to much gas? wen it sits overnight with gas in the tank it leaks and if look at the carb its like gas is going through it with the bike just sitting there. or maybe not enough air because the rubber boot that connects to the air filter is cracked and broken?

i sprayed some carb and choke cleaner in the carb and it seems to start easier but when i put the throttle back just a little bit its like it goes wide open.

This bike will not idle and is hard to start sometimes. If any has any suggestions on a problem or how to even identify the bike would be helpful. im pretty sure its a gemini becasue thats what it says on the seat and mabe its a sst from the gas tank emblem but other than that i got nothing.

Is a ski doo 399 a good sled motor to use for a go kart?

Yeh, when its on jack stands it will run fine and idle fine but when i put it on the ground and give it gas it dies.

can anyone tell me if im missing parts?

Just got carb cleaned and a new spark plug, its a pulsa jet carb so no fuel line, and the air cleaner doesnt look to dirty.

I have a 5hp briggs and stratton fun power model 136212-0016-04. I am pretty sure i am missing parts but not sure which ones or where they go? Also i dont know where the two wires for the kill switch go?

My go kart dies when i push the gas while its on the ground but if i have it on jack stands so the rear tires are off the ground it will run fine. I am stumped as to how to solve this, i really need some help.
