My go kart dies when i push the gas while its on the ground but if i have it on jack stands so the rear tires are off the ground it will run fine. I am stumped as to how to solve this, i really need some help.

adjust the fuel/air mixture. id say tighten a 1/4 turn or so. go from there.

also with a briggs, the common way to get your adjustment screw to "stock" is tighten it in all the way (dont over tighten) then back out 1.5 turns. what i always do. to adjust your fuel air keep it on jack stands, then run it wide open and adjust from there, when you get it just perfect go about 1/8 past that.

Has it always done this or did something change? If it use to work fine then something has gone wrong. Could be plugged air
cleaner or dirt in carb, bad spark plug or kink in fuel line if applicabe. Before adjusting things I would make sure the above
are working correct

Just got carb cleaned and a new spark plug, its a pulsa jet carb so no fuel line, and the air cleaner doesnt look to dirty.

i took the screw with the spring behind it out and noticed it was not as pointy as it used to be, could this be the problem?
