Anyone know where i can buy aftermarket parts for this engine like a stronger connecting rod maybe? If they make aftermarket parts for it that is. I was thinking of taking governor out and getting a stronger connecting rod so i dont break it. any other parts i would need?

The gasket between the carburetor and gas tank has a small rip in it from when i was putting it back together awhile ago and i spilled some gas on it. im hoping thats the problem, at the time i didn't think it was a big deal but maybe im losing to much vacuum under load for it to work.

even when i do the throttle slowly it just bogs way down and stops. also should i use gasket sealer on the gaskets? and could a head gasket cause this problem?
