no idea what it uses never had it apart before. unless you can tell from the outside? the rope just hangs out more than it used to, it still starts it and all just wondering how i can get it back to normal.

Why would a normal bolt be better? how hard is it to re-coil the starter rope? and how do i get to it?, the shroud looks like it has rivets and i have no idea how to get those out.

Does anyone have a pic of the type of bolt/screw that goes into the sprocket? like is it an allen head, bolt, phillips head screw? or does it even matter as long at it will screw into the hole?

yes the spring is a reddish rust color in some spots. does anyone know what type of screw goes into the sprocket?

The band on my brake is rubbing against my drum before i hit the brake and was wondering if anyone had a quick fix? the whole band isn't rubbing against the drum, only the part i have the green arrow pointed at but i still don't like it.

Would the lose of rpm be noticeable? ill take a look at the bronze bushing tomorrow then, do i look for grooves or what? is it bad if the spring doesn't pop straight? when i get a new clutch should i buy a comet or is the max torque the same and it wouldn't matter?

well, what the bushing and where is it? also i didn't look it at it a whole lot since i had no idea what to look for except the grooves im pretty sure isn't supposed to happen.

my chain had a master link so i got the clutch off but i have no idea how to tell if its bad, my dad says it junk so right now i still plan on getting a new clutch, i put picks up but not sure if anyone can tell anything from them. can anyone tell me certain parts or signs i should look for...

im definitely going to get some of those washers, if i use 1/8" will i have to add any chain to keep the right tensions or is 1/8" to small to effect it? i'll have to look for the master link tomorrow as i am busy today.

well i have no idea what a master link is so i dont know if i have one. and i am pretty sure there aren't any of those rubber washers on there but i think we might have some. how thick should they be?

How do i get it off with the chain on? whats he proper way it should be mounted? anyone got pictures off it?

that's what i plan on doing once i get a chain breaker. also the engine shakes pretty bad, is this bad or normal? it has done it since i got it which was years ago but im not sure if its supposed to do that.

all try grease once i take it off and hopefully clean it and try it again and see if it works with the grease. i thought of grease but everywhere i read said motor oil so i figured id ask.

is there a "best" type of oil to oil the clutch with? i have been oiling it now and every time i oil it it seems like it runs longer and has more power. so im still probably going to buy a new clutch but i am also going to see if i can clean the one i currently have.
