Throttle-Governor Linkage Help

I have a 5hp briggs and stratton fun power model 136212-0016-04.

I am pretty sure i am missing parts but not sure which ones or where they go?

Also i dont know where the two wires for the kill switch go?

1 (either) wire of your kill switch will be ran to that wire connected to your throttle linkage. The toggles other wire should be connected to ground somewhere on the frame or engine.

As far as your throttle linkage goes, I'm not sure what your missing there or not. Lots of us remove our kart engines governor system to achieve a higher max rpm. If this is something you wanted to do anyway, I'm prety sure you could just connect your throttle cable directly to the carb without using any of your pre existing throttle linkage.

Your carbs a diferent model but here's how my karts throttle cable connects directly to the carbs bell crank.

It doesn't look like you are missing any of the governor parts. Have you tried running the engine yet?

Yeh, when its on jack stands it will run fine and idle fine but when i put it on the ground and give it gas it dies.

here is a basic problem solver, go from here. turn your fuel/air mix all the way tight (dont over tighten) back out a turn and a half. this will allow you to start your engine. *on jack stands* rev it up wide open, adjust fuel/air mix as needed. try a 1/4 turn at a time. when you find it runs the smoothest go a 1/8 turn past that. that should be about optimal for your basic performance.

also, might check the gasket from the carb to the gas tank. and where the carb bolts to the head. when those are bad/torn up they cause to much airflow in the wrong places and it dosent run right.
