Is their any routine maintenance im supposed to do to my clutch? sometimes it will smoke because its getting hot but i dont know if thats normal or not?

Not to jack your thread but I read that if you have a tire thats bigger than 15" you should run a torque converter. Is this true?

Ive got 18" tires on mine and I've already got the sprocket and hub but I haven't ordered a clutch yet. Do you think Im fine or am I screwed?

just spend the extra money on a tav you will like it better you wont be burning it up and toofarnorth has a few for sale. im sure he will sell them reasonably priced he even has the jackshaft mount all you do is bolt your engine on it and bolt the plate to the engine mount.

Its always better to put your oil on when the clutch is hot because it basically gets sucket in.

yer mine smoked once, i oiled it and it runs perfect now. U gotta oil them regularly. Put some oil just behind the C clip. Not to much, just enough till it looks ok.

If you don't oil it the bronze sleeve bearing seizes up and shears the key way and then grinds away at your crankshaft.

I learned that the hard way.
