On a similar note, went to pick up my daughter from work the other night; 8pm, middle of town & I had to stop to let a fox cross in front of me...

Besides....nobody would believe a Coyote would even TRY to chase a Mustang.[/QUOTE]

Yea, Mustangs are too easy to catch. What year was the Road Runner? I had a b5 blue 1970 GTX, Air Grabber hood 440 4 bbl. bucket seats, console, ps, and at.

Just remember, back then power ratings were highly exaggerated from the factory. They used high octane leaded gas, race spec distributor, open headers, no accessories attached (some cases no water pump) to get those numbers plus it was taken from the flywheel. Today's numbers are much more accurate.

Now Ford does offer a Coyote engine in the Mustang as a 5.0L DOHC...put that up against a current charger or Challenger (close enough for modern day equivalents for the absent Roadrunner) and they would possibly walk away from the Coyote (Mustang), depending on which engine used in the car. With the OHV 5.7 it'll be a close one. The 6.1 may have the advantage, but the 6.4 392 would smoke the Coyote.

Wait! I said a Coyote wouldn't chase a Mustang....not have one in it! But really it doesn't belong in a Mustang...it should be in a box van...so it can properly haul a bunch of illegals...instead of hauling butt.

Well talk about a craptastic past few days. So my mom went to the doctor and they did a scan of her brain. Well as it turns out, what caused her to fall down with the fridge last month was...a small stroke. Now this is supposedly as in, we don't know for sure. She has seen many doctors in the last 20 years and they have all seen the same data but come up with different diagnosis for her.

Well today she had a similar feeling that she had last month, but this time she was in her chair, and not near the fridge. Called an ambulance and now she is back in the hospital, which I can only assume they won't find a freakin problem yet again. I believe she said she is having TI or TA...it's some weird mini stroke...either way, it sucks. I mean she'll have streaks of going to the hospital and then not go again for a year or two.

Its "TIA" TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack)
I do not know anything about it. I have just heard of it before.
Anyway TIA is what you would google if you want.

Sorry to hear all this. I will pray for your Mom.

{edit}
You should educate yourself about it. They are always running ads here on the radio.

"Know the signs of Stroke." The sooner you get help the better. So your whole family needs to know what to expect and how to react.

I don't mean to scare you.

That's what it was. So I guess she has been getting them all this week and I only found out because my grandma (her mom) called and I told her what happened and she said she's been having them all week...she's supposed to call her doctor whenever this happens, but she refuses to do so, until literally last second.

I know I'll be talking to my dad in a few hours when he gets up for work and ask what he knows.

Well according to my dad, my mom had too much creatinine and that caused some issues. She will be coming home later today, when my dad comes home from work. Not sure if they checked her for TIA, but after reading that TIA are precursors to a stroke within a year, I am very worried about her now.

I know that too much creatinine is caused by kidney failure, which if I recall she is in the beginning stages of it, but like I've said...her doctors are never consistent on what she actually has.

Well my mom is back home now. Her issue was kidney problems as a result of I believe early stage kidney failure. I did ask her if the stroke she had last month was just a TIA and it was not. It was a mild stroke. She is very lucky, but I fear that she may end up having more at some point in time. From what I can gather, it just randomly showed up with no warning. The thing is though, her speech wasn't at all slurred and for the most part she was all there. Yesterday, when the paramedics first arrived, her speech was fine, but slowly got worse during the 30 minutes they were there before loading her up. She started to studder and slur her words a bit and often repeated the same thing over and over.

Guess I have to look further into kidney problems and its affects on speech. Never knew this could actually happen from that, seemed more like a mental problem than this. The human body is a mystery on how it reacts.

So I guess her kidney failure/renal failure can could be a cause of that stroke. Apparently your chances go up when in kidney failure as the body cant deal with the toxins very well and effects the brain.

I am not an expert or anything. I did not even stay at a Holiday Inn Express.
But like I said they do these Public Service commercials here on bilboards TV and the radio. and they said "learn the signs" of stroke.

Your description above "She started out fine and got worse over 30 minutes" Is why. The sooner they get help the better. and if you all know the signs. The better off she will be.

Again I hope all works out good or better for Her.

I'm just surprised how long it took the ambulance to get here. Took nearly 20 minutes and they ran with lights and sirens off, which is odd.

They had done a CT scan at the hospital and didn't see anything new. But yeah, if there's anything more I can do for her to prevent future ones or know of shes having one I'll be doing it. Right now my parents are heading to Wisconsin for blueberry picking.

Ok...so...I'm in a lot of pain...toothache , earache, infected jaw....anywho...whatever...it only makes me slightly grumpier. (Remember...I'm a throat Cancer survivor...I'm no stranger to pain.)

Anyway...just got through watching the PGA Championship....I was rooting for Jason Day....he eagled the 18th but lost by one...So...this guy...Jimmy Walker...who comes out of nowhere to win his first major is from WHERE? Boerne ,Texas?

Jeeze...my backyard!

Only time I can stand watching golf, is when I'm actually on the course. If I'm in the mood to be asleep fast, I'll throw PGA on the idiot box and I'll be out in no time flat.

Soooo...what most of you don't know is...I have a pretty serious jaw infection right now.

I went to fill the prescription....$140+!!!!!!!

Son of a gun! And the nice lady pharmacist says: "Do you have a phone?"

Long story short: went to 'Good RX'... and paid $14.40!!!!!

Just thought this might be helpful!

Just for those that may want to GAB on this: the prescription was for 10. 750mg. Levoflaxaciln....(although that's not EXACTLY the original scrip....) anyway..feel free to research the price difference.
