He's such a character...he was just in my lap and I felt something in his tail.

I tried to take it out...and he bit me....so I used both hands...(one to block his attack and stabilize his tail....while the other removed the burr....

My doorbell rang earlier....my friendly Fed-Ex driver left me another box big enough to bury me in....(she's almost out of sight by the time I open the door!)

Sooo..time to get up and back on the Escort!

(Now I can use the headlight structure to gauge the corrections to the metal substructure to make sure everything is aligned and reformed properly....The hood is still binding...(maybe it will shed some light on that as well! )

Sooo...yesterday, I totally broke down and bought a new AC window unit with mommy's credit card. I really kinda feel bad about it....heck...I feel REALLY bad my mom is supporting me...instead of vice versa...

But before you get it twisted...realize I left home at 18...and never asked momma for nothing while I helped support my wife...and put my child through private school..

Until I was diagnosed with Cancer...I had more money than the law allows.

Anyway...enough of that whiny crap...I brought the new 8,000 BTU unit into the living room to put the wings on...ect....

And just for a little backstory....while my wife and child lived with me...I had a 3 ton central AC unit cooling less than 900 sq. ft. (We stayed COOL!)

Anyway...this unit of course has great features....one of which is showing you ROOM TEMPERATURE. It was 91°f when I plugged it in....It's 88 now....and honestly, I feel like it's getting COLD in here!

On a side note...it's maybe not easy to understand Texas summers
I have a 500 gallon stock tank that has fish and lily pads in. Now...the lily pads are in a salad bowl...which was completely above the water surface...now, it appeared all was left was a thick 1/2" to 1" layer of algea...which would NO DOUBT. be a dried up layer of algea in a few days....my main pond was nearly dry...pepper plants shriveled...(some didn't make it!)

I really didn't expect to have living fish in there.

but...I filled it up...and have half pint mosquito fish happily swimming around! !!
