After blowin' lots more dust off (of the racer & the work bench too)
...& a couple of wiping's with Acetone (but, not the work bench)

I think "we" B about ready for some paint (F'in finally)

I taped off the interior (a whole 'nuther project)

...& the "side pipes" too (ta "highlight" them)

Do you paint the mold with a thick layer of resin first before you put your soaked mat on it? Using a roller to spread resin will do that also along with aggressively mixing the resin as to introduce air bubbles.

I wasa about ta say "F it" I'ma runnin' outta summer
...but, remember "if ya gonna do something, try-n-do it right"
...& "this" is F'in' AWFUL

So, I sanded the entire "F'in" thing down...again
...& then, started-a-fillin' holes

You could also lay down a couple of good and heavy coats of gellcoat then resin and glass over that. Then finish with a squeegee to work out air bubbles.

...I cleaned up some small stuff & got 'em painted

Also, marked a "spot", in line with the Spindle Arm, for a "pilot hole"
...for cuttin' the Tie Rod "ports"
...in the "nose" re-enforcement panels

IMO this Satan Black paint really gives parts a "factory like" look

I really like the texture of this resined, cured & painted1708 Bi-Axial FG

Like the flat "panel" I made up
...that these "nose" re-enforcement panels are made outta

It looks really kool
...& isn't abrasive, to the touch

Rounded up some kool "hardware" for the re-assembly

...& got (2) "fresh" coats of paint on 'er by darktime

Tie Rod parts (& supervisor Ducky)

I got some fine threaded 3/8" nuts (ta use as "Lock" nuts or "Jam" nuts)

One Tie Rod End just gets threaded on, all of the way

On the other end, of the Tie Rod
...the "Jam" nut threads on, right behind the Tie Rod End
&
Once the steering adjustment/settings are "made"
...just "synch" 'er up, to Tie Rod End
...ta "lock" 'er in place

Workin' on mountin the front Axle

I wanted to keep the Button Head, bolt heads inside of the cockpit
...but, these nuts are/will be right in the Air Channel
...& may cause problems

I tried flippin' one over
...& yup, that looks more aerodynamic

So, I flipped both of them (or actually all (4) of them)

Hey Ez,

I was thinking, other than driver "feel"
...how would we know "if" this undercar aero "actually" creates any effect?

Testing
Maybe do some test runs
...with the under car aero "blocked off"
...then, a few test runs with the under car aero unblocked

Then, maybe add some "enhancements" like installing some "forward" air guides
...& maybe even, opening up (cutting out) the grille for additional air flow, into the Air Channels

&/or/maybe try

Entrainment

The reduction in pressure within the Venturi throat can be harnessed to create suction. This low-pressure zone creates a pressure differential relative to the higher ambient pressure outside the tube, generating a vacuum force. This suction enables a process known as entrainment.

Entrainment occurs when this low-pressure area is used to draw a secondary fluid into the primary flow stream. By placing a port at the throat, the higher external pressure pushes the secondary fluid into the main tube, where it mixes with the primary flow.

A classic example is a perfume atomizer. When the bulb is squeezed, it forces a jet of air to move at high speed across a small dip tube extending into the liquid perfume. The fast-moving air has a lower pressure than the atmospheric pressure inside the bottle. This pressure difference pushes the perfume up the tube and into the airstream, where it is dispersed as a fine mist.

Maybe try a small bottle of a scented liquid
...or colorful powder
...connected to the Throat via a small tube

Then, if a low pressure area is created (in the Throat) the liquid (or powder) should get drawn into the air flow
...which should send a noticeable scent or visual, out of the Tunnels
