It is more expensive and more complex to add suspension. More moving parts, more cost. You could probably use suspension components from a car to make it cheaper. Maybe the shock absorbers and control arms from a older honda civic? I dont know what cars you have over there.

I don't see the point. Both from it being AWD and electric, but also, why is it an SUV shape? so they can batter each other more and have a drivable car afterwards?
