Need some advice

Alright I'm a student in 10th grade and my small manufacturing class is gonna make a go kart from scratch we have budget restrictions so I was wondering if there are wheels from other machines that could work well on a go kart

Is this the same class as the kid asking about the clutch? Are we just building one machine or is it a competition against class mates?

How do we feel about lawn tractor wheels?
Are these closer to golf cart than to hand truck?
Just trying to think of places you might be able to salvage from.?

Occasionally golf courses around me wreck a golf kart. you can get them then, or from FBM or cheap.

Also rich guys want their golf carts to look cool so they swap out the OEM wheels for some bling. Those old wheels can be had pretty cheap.
