    Clone Clutch Brand Recommendation?

    I was in the same situation a while ago. I started out with a hilliard and later changed to a max torque. The max torque was a lot smoother. I guess 6 shoes vs. 4 in the hilliard was the reason.

    I used a Robin/Subaru engine on my sons kart, It's proven to be very reliable. They cost more than the clones from harbor frieght. I think there better, at least I was sold on that. check out this link it's what sold me on one of there engines http://robinamerica.com/industrial.aspx

    Need big rear tires?

    The ad reads: "Rim: Bolt Holes are 10mm, Bolt Hole Pattern is 4 holes on a 110mm Bolt Hole Circle". Thats 4.33" a standard go-kart wheel hub has a smaller pattern. The 4" hubs may work but can be expensive.
