Pop open the door, unscrew, insert tube, suck, quickly place into kart. Some cars need the inside lever to be pulled, some don't. My 03 CRV has the inside lever but our 09 Galant just swings open.

Ok but I would not do that when my stepdad runs out of gas on his way to work. I know how to siphon, its just a can't get the tube to the bottom of the tank. Its like something blocking it.

Most modern cars have an anti siphon device.

Either like a sleeve like this:

Or just a one way valve, makes it a PITA when they fill a petrol tank with diesel or vice versa. lol

shouldnt the tank have a drain point

if not crack the sender unit bolts and cacth the fuel as it leaks out

only works if the sender unit is on the side and the tank is above that point

Do we really wanna be telling him how to siphon gas from cars? Turning to a life of crime at a young age lol. Just ask to do some extra work around the house for your mom and step dad or maybe find a neighbor who needs some yard work or something for the summer and that should keep you in gas all summer long. Besides gas taste like S*&T and it's not really all that healthy for you lol. Keep up the work Karl! And I second the helmet idea. Better safe than sorry.
