As my kart build is for the grandkids to drive as a street kart, I have a HF 6.5 clone engine and plan on using a 6.6:1 drive ratio with a 10T clutch and a 66T split sprocket on the axle for the eventual quick change. Tires are 11.5 diameter and it's a live axle kart (old Dart Super K.) Speeds should be 20 max
1) should I be looking at a Hilliard or Max-Torque clutch?
2) 35 or 40/41 chain? This may impact clutch sprocket selection.
3) If I leave the governor in play for the kids, what will be the max RPM I can realistically expect? This also will impact ratio selection.
