    First used Yerf Dog

Thats a cool kart! I haven't seen them with two shocks on each wheel before. If you are wanting to put "extensive" upgrades into it and you have some fabrication skills, here are my humble suggestions in order of what I think is most important: 1. Engine and torque converter, unless you...

    First mini bike build

I like the idea of the bolts set up to move the engine to tighten the chain. Seems like it would a be a great way to keep the engine squared up to the frame when you adjust it too. Well done!

Comet TAV 2 plastic cover mounting question

Atta boy Sid! Sorry for the delay in getting back on here. Was busy at home. Now back at work where I have time to goof off on the internet. I never thought about heat wearing out belts, which makes sense, but I did think about mud, sand, rocks, tree branches, my leg, etc. screwing up my...

Comet TAV 2 plastic cover mounting question

Hey guys, does anyone happen to know what size bolts are used for mounting the torque converter plastic cover on the tav2 with the mounting plate? I lost the ones that it came with and don't have anything even close to give me an idea of what to pick up at the hardware store. Anyone that can...

    Replacing torque converter spring.

Yeah, I don't know what you mean with the "clicking" part. There isn't anything on the driven that clicks unto place. It sounds like you did it right. As long as you preloaded the spring in the right direction it should be fine. I don't know if I understand what you are asking so forgive...

    Newb here...Where to start?

For what its worth to anyone else with simlar questions: according to the guys on another forum dedicated to mini bikes, the Azusa frames are ok, but they are significantly smaller than the doodlebug frames. I think that may be a deal breaker for me. So now I'm leaning towards the bad dog...

    Newb here...Where to start?

I'm thinking about either buying the Azusa kit with the 8 inch wheels, or buying a completed doodlebug on craiglist. There arent really any project bikes on my local craigslist, so if I go with the craigslist bike, it's going to be actually more expensive than the new Azusa kit. Without taking...

    Newb here...Where to start?

Before I start, I really did try to use the search function but it asks me something about a Briggs and Stratton go kart that I don't know the answer to so it won't let me search... Anyway, I'm completely new to mini bikes. I know almost nothing. But they look super fun and I want one. I...

    "New Kart" and new member

If those are all the parts you have for your clutch, you are missing some stuff. You need the weight assembly and the garter springs that go on the inside of the drive unit. You shouldn't have any trouble finding that stuff online.

Need a little help with shocks

Hey, did you ever get this sorted out? If so, what shocks did you go with? I have two of those 3203s. One has some really heavy duty shocks on it, the other has some really cheap shocks that I ordered from Northern Tool. They were like 25 bucks for a set of two or something like that. Dirt...

please help!Murray Kilowatt motor swap with predator

Just wanted to point out that you are a kick *** mom for doing that for your kids. Swapping out their go kart motors for them? That's awesome. If you need any more help or tips or anything, this is a great place to ask. People here can be very helpful. Also, one more thing. Its hard to...

    Question on rear wheel size

Since you are using a torque converter, you should have no problem getting enough torque to use the 18 inch rear wheels.
