TrailMaster Mini XRS will not start

Hi I have a TrailMaster Mini XRS and it will not start. Sent the carb back to the place I purchased it at and they cleaned it. The cart is brand new maybe 2 hrs on it.

It was starting hard and then stopped starting. I installed the newly cleaned carb and it is still not starting.

Seems to be getting fuel fine just will not catch. This was a christmas gift for my kids, would really like to get it working but could send it back to the place I purchased for a new one but would cost me a few bucks to do that.

Am going to try a new spark plug. I pulled it and did confirm the current one is sparking. What the an easy way to check on compression?

Place a thumb or finger over the spark plug hole (not in the hole), just enough to create a seal, & crank the engine; if your finger can't hold the pressure, it has adequate compression...

Switching the spark plug is always a good idea; just because you see a spark under atmaspheric conditions doesn't mean it will spark when pressurised... ;)

Fuel is flowing strong. Maybe the throttle is messed up? Pressing the gas has no impact.
