Acquired a Yerf Dog 3203 kart. Needs a lot of work. I have everything ordered except shocks. The old ones are a little stiff, someone cut out pieces of pipe and drilled holes in the ends and replaced the front and rear shocks with then. I need to put the proper shocks back on and have nothing to go by. If someone has one of these karts, would you please post the proper eye to eye measurements for the front and rear. Thanks Alan

I'm an older guy, and those solid steel pipes just don't have to much spring in them, but I do believe they would handle any load put on the kart. We pull a small camper to an island where we camp in a woods of oak and palm trees. Nice and shady and all utilities. There are dirt roads heading everywhere and about a mile down one and you are at the ocean's surf. This kart fits neatly into the back of my pickup so it will be no problem taking it along. Cant wait to get it done.

Downloaded the manual. Thanks for the help. I think I'm going to go with the air shocks upgrade. I bought new carburetor, belt, chain and sprockets. Need a seat and seat belts and fuel tank. have to wait for financing on the seat and have been unable to find the fuel tank. I can build a good one so that's no problem. I have a metal lathe so can make all the bushings and such. This cart is going to live a live of ease, carrying two old farts around a camp ground. OOPS, one old fart and a young lady who is his same age.

Hey, did you ever get this sorted out? If so, what shocks did you go with? I have two of those 3203s. One has some really heavy duty shocks on it, the other has some really cheap shocks that I ordered from Northern Tool. They were like 25 bucks for a set of two or something like that. Dirt cheap. Anyway, for what it's worth, they are 12" eye to eye, but honestly, it wasn't that critical. Could probably get away with +\- 1/2" without any problems. Wanted to tell you this because to be honest I prefer the way the kart with the cheap shocks rides and handles better than the kart with the more heavy duty shocks. So, if you want to be cheap, those Northern tool mechanical shocks work fine for next to nothin...
