Well since its getting around to that season now I was beginning to wonder how many people on here either ride sleds or work on them? I know that jr.dragster and kaptainkrunch do but does any one else ride?

Well, I just picked up a garden tractor that has a horizontal shaft opposed twin Kohler with pressure lube. Is there any thing special I should know about the opposed twins? I know they need to be kept as flat as possible.

When ever I am welding with a setting below the max (90 amp) with my MIG it starts sputtering. The wire is burned up quickly then extends until it arcs again and then burns up quickly and it just repeats. I've tried changing the wire speed, lowering the gas rate and adjusting the drive roller...

I decided to take a break from working on my mini buggy and put my old kart back together with new gearing. Before it was geared to go 60'ish kph with my 6.5 clone. The gearing was something around 6:1. The new gearing I have is 14.4:1 and the difference is amazing. It only goes 22 kph now but...

Here's my very late contest entry. I'm using the engine with the sign on it (35hp) with full suspension.I'll post more of my progress tomorrow, the batteries died on the camera after these two pics.Ignore the rust on the axle and sprocket it came off quite nicely.

Could any one tell me if this has a oil pump or a dipper? I'm in the process of converting it to a horizontal shaft for my mini bike.
