Good work, mini vehicle bodies are not very EZ it seems. I don't think any companies did metal bodies, pretty sure just fiberglass.

Well, let's see if these things "fit" together (left side, floorboard, right side)

Had ta do a little bit of "jockeying"
...but, seems ta be kinda, pretty close

Um...I gots lotsa bare metal

So, I did a bunch of grindin' (entrance/exit openings & wheel wells)

* Here is some notchin' ta remove excess material "up close" ta the line

Then, cleaned 'em up
...& got 'em sealed up/put 'em in primer

Yup, of course I sealed up the inside too

It's raining right now where I'm at. I'm currently looking at parts and seeing how they might fit in my buggy listening to yhe raining pelt my metal roof

The fuel fill on the old military style Jeeps is on the drivers side
...between the "doorway" & the wheel well
...& is recessed (for protection)

So, I rounded up a recessed toggle switch (ta mount our "fuel fill'er" into)

...& positioned it in about the same place

* Notice, I positioned the mounting screw holes, for the housing, in between the (2) lines?
...these lines indicate where the floorboard bolting flange, intersects with the side panel
...so, those (2) screws will also, help to secure the side panel to the floorboard

* Yup, I had ta move 'er just a bit because of there being a cross-bar right behind there

Here's our 1950's era mini-Jeep recessed, charge port (part # MJ-6152023)

...with connecting plug

I used a step-drill bit ta drill 'er out (had a 1/2" hole but, CP needed a 7/8" hole)

...& then, simply mounted the charge port up in there

Electric mini-Jeep charge port/fuel filler, reporting for duty
