What cam he says...

I haven't looked yet.

Im inclined to keep the stock one. It has the most LSA. Better idle and lower end power.

Ive had good luck with just intake exhaust and head work. Raising the compression really wakes these industrial engines up.

Hey WTR. I have built several of the predator 212's. For carburaters I have used genuine Makunis, the popular 22mm Chinese knock off, and the rejetted stock carburetor. For all out top end speed the slide type carburater will give you the most. But for crisp neck jerking acceleration the rejetted stocker wins hands down. Do your head work, raise compression ratio, a header pipe exhaust, and one of those free flowing air filters. I am at ( or very close to ) sea level. A .036" main jet and a .019" or .020" pilot jet, and she will leap out of the hole. I have run before and after scenarios with built engines on both a kart and on a mini bike.
Both vehicles had either 18" or 19" tires and 30 series torque converters.

Im at 4200' . My jetting will be different.
This was supposed to be a low budget build.
Well then a .034" or a .035" will be what you need. Jets are pretty cheap. Like about $3.50 each. I think that qualifies as low budget. I'm just trying to prevent you from blowing a bunch of money on a trick slide type carburater that will not leave the line as hard as what's on there right now. The pilot jets are real easy to drill out if you have a set of the micro drills.

Still waiting on tires.
Got the rims clean. Gonna throw some paint on them too.

Painted the throttle housing.

The kill switch was busted.
Drilled a small hole. Heated the screw and hot threaded it in.

Im thinking maybe some JB weld or that mush and mix putty. To cover the screw and make a button.

What say you guys?

Got the fenders and bars on.
Nothing to exciting.

I want to mount the tires first. Then I can align the engine. Then cables. Tank and seat will be last.

The paint turned out real nice! Not my cup of tea color wise, but I'll have to admit, it sure looks pretty!

The paint is growing on me, plus I understand the overall theme; you might even call it an inside joke or something, not sure. The color is a light magenta in my eyes and not a pastel pink (which would be worse).

Denny nailed it. Pepto bismol.

Didn't think my build was gonna get so much attention. Thanks guys.

I showed a friend who's not familiar with the mini bike scene and he laughed at the whole idea of the big engine and said that I should keep it pink.
I ran with it.

Still waiting on tires. Can't believe a 145 70 6 is hard to get. Its a super common size. Once I get them I can finish putting it together.
