Swapped the right side crank seal today, its no longer eating trans oil! Oil injection system functional. 2nd test run my rear brakes went out, my though train was something like this when that happened

:worried2: :surrender: :surrender: :surrender:(engine braking+front brake stopped me) :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: :furious2:

Now I just need rear brakes, an air filter and a main jet(I HATE SLIDE CARBS).

Where the hell did Russ go?

Changing the jet is dead simple, its in a carrier of sorts, basically a big banjo bolt that goes into the side of the bowl with the jet on the end. Takes maybe 1 minute with a ratchet and a screwdriver. The carb is just the fuel line and a hose clamp.

They could have just as easily put a needle valve through the banjo going into a 130ish main(stock is 112.5). I might go so far as doing this, have a fairly complete spare carb.

After pulling the rear end apart I finally realized I forgot to readjust the brakes after I removed the linkage to get the sidecover out for the new crank seal.
