ok ... i kicked my lazy *** and completely removed the engine from the frame... :) drained the oil and cracked open the side cover (1'st time ever in this engine's life!) it looks absolutely lovely inside and i think i felt in love with my honda... so now i wamt to put reliability upgrades in it so it will hold up better the abuse....

here is my list:

ARC Billet Rod With Bearings

ARC Racing Billet Flywheel

Valve Spring, 18lb.

Flat Top Piston

Ring Set, Standard Bore

Wrist Pin, GX160/200

Wrist Pin Clips

total 215$

question is... would i need a standard bore piston or a + 0.10 , and file to fit ring kit or a std bore???

and is there missing things? like could i keep the stock piston or the flat head is recommended?

edit: wee got myself a set of feeler gauges and a torque wrench to properly build my engine... I'M GONNA CREATE A MONSTER!!! lol well not like tyler's rhino but oh well mine will be turbo;)

Where'd you buy yours.

ebay :)

and i just finished getting the crank out of it.... DANG the flywheel is big and heavy (big thick cast iron bell) i think the billet flywheel will be a good add on...

the crank looks new , the cyl bore looks new (no kidding) the rod look new (but flimsy thats why i'm going for a billet rod...

i tapped the gov hole with a 1/4 tap and plugged it with a 1/4 bolt

removed the low oil sensor and tapped a 7/16 thread to plug it with a bolt

now i'm going to bring the case at work and clean the hell out of it :) (full of dirt, metal chips from tapping, gasket remains)

well i just placed an order at www.affordablegokarts.com ... finally i bought a std bore piston and a std bore ring kit... hope it will fit well threated myself and got a billet flywheel weeee

Are you going to get some high lift rockers? Or perhaps a higher lift cam?

Also are you going to leave your governor arm in there? I took mine out. Looks smooth now!

Awesome! You'll notice more power right out of the start now! Even without boost.

lol i know... the only thing i'm afraid now is the carb's size... oh well i'll try it with the old and i'll see...

oh and if you ever get a cone air filter be sure to get one that is made in fabric and not just a ****ing mesh... my carb was full of dirt... i'm surprised the cylinder looks that good! lol

omg when i'm finished with this i'm sooooooooo bringnin it to the local modified car show LOLOLOLOL... hmmm i wonder if this thig would be dyno-able... " and now on the dyno... a ****ing turbo shopping cart?!?!?!!" LOLOLOL

also the old manifolds / turbo / tank / carb was actually about the same wheight of the engine LOL
its gonne be wayyyyy more lighter now...

And what did I say the second I saw your filter like 2 months ago?:roflol: The Standered size piston and rings will be fine, But still check the ring end gap to be sure.

okok yeah i got a set of feeler gauges to do that!

yeah i know about the filter... i just didnt thought it was going to be THAT bad... wow imagine someone putting this into his car... lol

the more i'm thinking the more i think it would be great to run nitrous oxyde in it... muAHAHAHAH (i would put like a 50cc's engine jet to be safe...)

A engine that use's nitrous oxide to boost HP relies on nitrous at WOT to run properly. You cant have a engine that runs good without the nitrous at WOT then just spray it. That's where severe engine damage occurs like cracked heads/blocks/melted pistons. Ever see a drag car have a nitrous malfunction? Just loads up with fuel.

can never have enough dude i say go for it.

im experimenting with a 26hp vertical and thinking about also buying a kp31 to throw at it.

oooo yeah man do it... that 26 hp will spool it VERY well!!! even that i'll tell you to use a boost controller and gauge, and to reinforce the insides... i bought kinda expensive upgrades but i think ist wayyyy worth it... that way if my turbo ever produces boost in the intake i'll have fun without having to worry about exploding the rod or flywheel...

anyone knows what these ARC billet rods and flywheel can withstand?
