Looks like a little too much hone tension going on there. Also don't forget, Never hone dry!

the tension screw was in the middle position... i'll put less next time

amd i poured 5w-30 oil while honing... yeah it looks rough but its really smooth... my finger nail dont catch in it... anyway lol it was my 1'st hone job ever LOL

A torque plate isn't really necessary just for a quick cleanup of a bore.

well... i was more going into "durability" mods... with the new turbo i kinda hope it will make boost...
and for the carb i have a mikuni carb on the turbo... the jet is probably WAY too big but i'll see LOL

plus cams are kinda expensive... (coming from the guy who's turboing a feckin gx160)

lol if i do a mod to my 20 hp briggs its gona be a cam grind from g-team. and after that im gona go with new carb better port and polishing, and then other stuff.

oooo yeah man do it... that 26 hp will spool it VERY well!!! even that i'll tell you to use a boost controller and gauge, and to reinforce the insides... i bought kinda expensive upgrades but i think ist wayyyy worth it... that way if my turbo ever produces boost in the intake i'll have fun without having to worry about exploding the rod or flywheel...

i ended up selling the turbo but i did put it on the engine but no spool but oh well.

next up is a off road kart probably twin dont no if i should go vert with a transaxle or horz but time will tell what ever i can find.

finally got my parts!!!! WEEEE was going to inslall them tonight but my set of 12 point sockets stops at 3/8 and i need 1/4 to work on the rod FFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

oh well installed the new valve springs (18lbs) an 1:2 rockers... DANG the valves are MUCH stiffer now!

how did you get the origonals out? and cant u use one of them converters?

your talking about the rod? stock one is regular hex head... billet one is 12 point head

just finished drilling and tapping a hole in the side cover for a 1/8 npt hose barb... pulse fitting!
