I once had an old Mercury outboard engine.
Took 2 weeks to remove flywheel.
Every once in a while I would put more tension on puller.
One night I was in my shop and...BANG...
Out of nowhere the flywheel just popped off all by itself.
I was nowhere near it at the time. Weird stuff.

Had the same :censored: thing happen to me with a old merc outboard, except after an hour I got out the big *** brass deadblow hammer. One gentle smack did the trick.

AAAAAARG! Can you tell that even this puller isn't working? Ridiculous! I've left it there with major tension on it, oil on the shaft, and tried tapping and heating the hub of the flywheel.
The Polaris/Fuji is starting to tempt me.......

Darn... Maybe I could put one of those plastic folding beach chairs on my new kart which should do 120km/h (75 mph), then I'd finally be a SOMEBODY!

They all laughed when they heard about the fastest folding beach chair, WELL WHO'S LAUGHING NOW :roflol:

It is so funny you mentioned that! In our corner of the neighborhood, between me and my next-door neighbor, all sorts of weird crap was rolling around out of our garages at one time or another.....
So this kid has a gas-powered stand-up scooter, and he converts it to a sort of sit-down motorcycle by bolting on one of those folding lawnchairs to it!(Yellow nylon straps and all!) It was so funny to see this kid go buzzing down the street on it, because all you saw was the chair and the handlebars..... it looked like a low-flying magic carpet with furniture on it! I never had my camera ready when he'd go by, and now I'm sure that he's moved on to bigger better things.

I'l just strap a lawn chair and drag it behind my dragster. Then I'll set the record of just shy of 90 mph.

But who's the poor sap that gonna sit in it? Someone's gotta be sitting in it piloting the vehicle. I know what this poor sap would be saying......

"AAAAAAAAHHHHH! Oh my Gaaaawwwwwwwd! AAAAAAaaaaah! I've soiled my firesuit! Slow this f&^%$#r dooooowwwwnnn!" ... or something like that, right?
Either way, yours would be the first dragster to have a lawnchair, and ya gotta get something for that, right?

Maybe our best bet for fastest lawnchair would be your 3-wheeler. It's got a nice flat platform to bolt to...?

Isnt it so simmilar to your trike? Kinda scared me when I saw yours! I'm not sure what's done to this motor because I was so young when the guy built it up but it sure is powerfull! Now who's willing to be dragged in a lawn chair behind my dragster so we set the record? Shouldnt hurt *too* much as long as all four's stay on the ground. Dont forget the ear plug's or else you'll have no ear left after standing/sitting behind this thing at WOT or seconds. Face might be burned a bit too from the 1300F EGT and a few flames. At night you can see the flames big time. Dang that other car's farty sounding engine ruin's the audio in my vid lol.
