Post up a good clear pic of what you got.

My camera didn't want to focus too well......
The only thing I have to grip the flywheel by is the 3 6m bolts, used to hold the starter pulley on. There's no other way to grip it. I have abiut 50 ft. lbs of torque on the puller right now. Don't want to snap anyrhing off inside the flywheel.

Looks ok.
50 ft. lbs. seems kinda' light though. Try bringing up higher in 3 to 5 ft. lb increments. Let it sit a while and bring up again. Use a good penetrating oil around perimeter of crankshaft/flywheel hole. Transmission fluid works also. On occasion, give the end of puller a couple o' whacks. Be patient, it will go.

Nope! Big round goose egg. I keep cranking it down further and further, expecting at any time for the m6 bolts to either snap or get stripped from the flywheel. The Polaris has spark, and might just replace this mess. Either way, if it requires money, it won't be happening for a while.

Just keep tightening and tapping, IT WILL come off. The lack of rust on the wheel is amazing.

DANG! I've got it cranked to the point where the puller arms are bending, and now I'm trying PB blaster stuff on it to see if that'll help. To find and purchase a proper puller for this is probably gonna cost $$$.

WOW. I know you guys are getting sick of this, (as am I) but Holy Sh_t! This thing will NOT come apart! The local machine shops won't touch it, because they feel that everything that can be done has. Today, after soaking it with PB Blaster, I cranked on the puller further, heated up the flywheel with a torch, shot the crank end with freon (OW! My fingers!) and...... nothing! I beat the snot out of it!
Whatever is keeping this flywheel on the shaft that well must have been left behind by a superior race of aliens!

Im having the same problem as you jerry with my ATC engine, **** flywheel bent my puller its on so tight...

Cant you just get a chunk of 1/2 alu hanging around and build something like that?

Pretty sure it's gonna bend or pull the bolts through aluminum, and where do I get the kroil from? Better than PB Blaster? One of the shop guys tried his favorite "Mopar Heat Riser" lubricant.....
Also, (not that I'll ever get to see this) is a shot of the offending member. I wanted to see how far back the hub went.... not very far.

Yeah I know how you feel. I was so angry for so long cause I couldnt get it off. Eventually my dad got it off.
