She should have some grunt :2guns:

I ended up just going with turf treads, this is still supposed to be a yard kart of sorts.

It really does look like a grown up Azusa Road Rocket! :lolgoku:

What's the pedal to seat back distance? I'd like to know how it compares to the ARR in terms of size.

I always wanted an azusa kart, it is definitely inspired by the design.

With the seat forward, about 32in, all the way slid back 36in , bumper to bumper 69in

Looks like you have a great yard trencher there. Shouldnt be long before you are spewing rooster tails of fine particulate yard matter any time you twitch on the gas pedal.

Having the mix of the large displacement v twin with lots of low end torque and the turbo boosted HP should be a blast to ride in the yard or wide open spaces.

You are rocking it.

Thanks , cant wait to see what happens when I mash the throttle!

The motorcycle battery cranks it fine, that is a plus.

Im kicking myself for not painting it green, I forgot I had these LED gauges!

Oh well, Ill probably buy two hose kits and just mount the mechanical boost and oil pressure somewhere. And a keyswitch.

Lots of cable management to go.

I have a similar set of digital gauges for my car project... Are yours by Intellitronics by chance ? Nice to see you using a signal generator, power supply and have a 'scope on the bench !

...so no speedunio EMS for you ? I am amazed that you have it running boost on a carb with with no EMS or spark control (?) I'm sure you know not to lean it out under boost because bad things can happen.

Yeah The gauges are intellitronix , I worked there for a few years.

I still have some stuff, like a prototype tach that can be set from 1 to 12 cylinders, and can read all 4 digits , 3 or 2 (the last two digits are hardwired to display zero's to reduce cost and jitter on normal units), rpm activated switch built in, shift light, ect

Now I mainly just repair computer graphics cards if I mess with electronics.

Anyway its not my first time playing with draw through turbocharging, I am well aware of what can go wrong, I wont lose any sleep if I melt a piston or compress a rod. Detonation is not fun, I have learned this. I am pushing over 12 to 1 with boost, not enough octane or fuel + no ability to retard timing = bang :p

Get some snowblower tire chains and RIDE!
At least, until the 20 plus HP destroys them! :roflol:

Yeah, I dont care to get whipped by tire chains when one lets go

Probally not pleasant lol

The ground has not been frozen, so its just been a mucky slushy mess, no thanks haha

Speaking of detonation , this eu2000 honda (less than 5yo) came in for consuming and leaking oil

Poor fuel + excessive loads, even with a computer controlled generator, will knock. Compression ratio on these are 8.5 to 1, and run 4500rpm max.

Good luck, atleast you can about build one from scratch...rust free are $$$$

Yeah, I live in the rust belt. I can dream, right? haha

Whatever I find will definitely be rough

I found my 64' 1 ton cheap, its been a great truck, learned how to change split rims, now if only half tons were half the money :p
