They did a CT with contrast. I tell you one thing, I'm really wishing I had eaten today...I'm starving. On the upside....I'm hardly even having any pain right now.

I'm ready to get out of this place and have food and a smoke.

Yeah after 2 days my dad was already bored to death of his room. Spend so much money on hospitals, least they could put in is a freakin pool table and better food.

Did they give you pain medicine or actually fix something?
I imagine it is hard to find parts for such a "Vintage" Chassis.

I know I'm new here and don't really know you guys but I really enjoy reading your posts. To kartorbust I am proof you can live normal life with 30% damage. I'm a 5 heart attack survivor 5 stents and two strokes. Will be praying for your dad. And poboy like it or not will pray for you too.

Thanks. He had about 40% damage. He came home yesterday from the hospital. I just have to do all the heavy work, since as you know, can't move anything heavier than 10lbs. Far as I know, he's off work for the next 2-3 weeks. He's going to be so bored, be being at home.

Thanks...in case you're wondering why I just disappeared. I realized my phone battery was getting low. I asked if they could find me a charger and someone finally did just a little while ago. So I'll be around after it gets fully charged.

No blot clots on the CT but they found a mass at the top of my left lung. They've taken well over 30 blood samples, 4 urine samples and had me spit what I coughed up in a cup. They are treating me as highly contagious, and are saying there are some markers pointing towards Tuberculosis. I don't where in the world I would have picked THAT up at?

Doctors always seem to go by worse case scenario, so while they think TB it's probably something else.

The nurse that brought me the charger repo'd it before I got to 60%. So I just turned the phone off. My nightime doc just brought it back.I'll be here at least tomorrow and tomorrow night.

I had just turned my phone on and barely missed a text from my next door neighbor. He said they found my other neighbor dead in his house.

Well, I really don't know your butt from a stinky hole in the ground, but I hope you get better.
I hate hospitals, although they saved my life more than once. Try and be a good patient!

Some hospitals have a full blown secret menu. Try asking for one!

Personally, I think we're stuck with him; he's one of those people who is just to mean to die (how's that saying go again? Someone won't take him, and the other one's afraid he'll take over???? Something like that......).
