94 here. Took my dad fishing today. I caught 2 small Sunnies and that was it. Got home from O'Riley with parts for the mountaineer and my girlfriend rushed out because my mom was crushed by the fridge. She was putting an ice tray in the freezer and she blacked out and her hand was still on the door and when she went down, whole thing came down on top of her. My girlfriend was able to get the fridge off my mom but my mom's chest was very sore, so she couldn't get up. So she's in the hospital with a bruised chest and may spend the night there.
Well it was the freaking Idle Air Control Valve, that was giving grief. Got that replaced in like 5 minutes, but once I got that done, I had to pull out of the garage so they Paramedics could get the gurney into the kitchen and have my mom get into the ambulance.
Then after I put the new IAC valve in, I put in 8 new spark plugs. Driver side piece of cake, passenger side...was a pain. Ford decided its a great freaking idea to have the head on the passenger side for spark plug holes to be at like a 30 degree angle so the #7 plug was a P.I.T.A to get out with extensions on. Regardless it's running better. Just idles high for about 5 seconds then mellows out. Oh and I tossed in a new air filter cause I had all of that torn apart to do the plugs.
