Believe it or not....I was six years old when I first got drunk. Despite the fact that alcoholism runs in my family....my dad's brother died in a DUI accident....some of my uncles decided it would be funny to give a kid some beer.

REALLY????? IDK....Maybe given a choice...at age....I might have made the right choices.....but I didn't....

Not sure if this is funny or not but, one of my cousins left a can of Budweiser on the ground open by the fire pit, one of the dogs came over and knocked it over and started drinking it. Wish I had a phone camera at the time and took video of it.

Yeah. but it is just wrong to intentionally give a dog too much beer. Most only weigh like what a small child weighs.

Yep I had a dog that drank beer and it actually helped save his life once as it helped him pass a kidney stone. That actually eventually killed him.(The kidney stones, not the beer....)

Was gonna drive the truck today and the battery was dead! I thought I had that fixed when I changed out the ignition switch. I hate electrical gremlins! Couldn't put a charger on it because it started raining.

Wound up wiring up the bumper on the Escort and driving it. Got headlights ordered and going to check locally for a bumper. Probably just wind up beating the fender back in shape.

I PAFR! Oscar caused this...and saved my life! She was misbehaving and distracted me...but she kept the investiganting officer far enough away so she couldn't smell my breath!

Ok...not like I had a bunch of wrecks....but usually, you don't REALLY know what happened until you have a day or two to reconstruct things in your mind....Because things happen so fast...that your subconscious is in control anyway, and then...the trauma messes with your consciousness brain. Then it takes a little while to come back to you.

So...first thing is....Oscar...(was wrapped around the rear view mirror....AND the steering wheel) .....(she IS 5' long!)

Soooo...this car is parked on the outside side (passenger) side of a curve. Because Oscar was wrapped up between the rear view and steering wheel....I accidentally turned th wheel in that direction and was trying to get her extracted.

Now....a panic stop...wasn't enough to stop my car...WHY DIDN'T I JUST JERK THE WHEEL AND DRIVE AROUND THIS CAR?

Ummmm....yeah...because I didn't want to rip my snakes head off!

Jeeze...I just went to call to price out a local place to get a bumper cover for the Escort and it was 1/2 price.....BUT...I still think I'm ordering online. (Local STILL means an hour drive time....and it's $40 dif.

On another note....I'm not sure HOW this happened: but I missed 4 attempts by my insurance company claims adjusters! Anyway, they assured me that they would pay the other parties claim 100%.

They were just happy no personal injuries could possibly be involved. Put it this way: that can get hairy....I pay about $2400 per year in insurance....this claim might actually reach that...(maybe)

My girlfriend's suv is torn apart right now. Yesterday while driving around, dang thing cut out completely. Narrowed it down to either the IAC, aka Idle Control Valve, a vacuum leak, fuel pump or fuel filter. Hate sequential multi port fuel injection, too much B.S to go wrong or so many symptoms to be one problem.

Yeah...went through all that (although my Toyota was running....BARELY.)

New fuel filter, new fuel pump, new injectors.....finally gave up and took it to Toyota....it had jumped time! I just moved the distributor and got a lot more miles out of it!

Diagnostic at Toyota $130....worth every penny!

Yeah I'm at a loss. Of scanner brought up no codes, no check engine light. Slight misfire, idle is a very low 450-500rpm when it should be at about 650-750. When I start coasting to slow down, rpms just fall flat on their face instead of gradually drop with speed.

Just a couple months ago, it would high idle. So when stopped either in park or in drive with foot on the brake while in gear, the engine would rev randomly to 1000-2000rpm for no reason. So I looked into it and IAC valve sounded like the problem. But then it wouldn't do it again for a few weeks. Then just stopped doing it all together.

Now it's doing this. So I'm at a loss. When I'm driving it, it's not lacking any power, in fact I tested from going from 55mph to 45 than hit the gas hard, spun her up to 4200rpm and backed down. Far as I can tell, its fine with cruise control on.

Our 99 tacoma would just up and die, for no reason. Anytime anywhere. Sometimes it would start right back other times you had to wait.
After spending $500 on misc "fixes" that did not work! We determined the Computer was just bad. $1600 more dollars. Super rare 4x4 2.8liter 4cyl stick shift.
So in 2013 we got the Tundra (aka Rat feeder)
