Ok, I've read some stories on here about bad luck. Be glad your not me. On march 11 in a ice storm the girlfriend slid into a ditch with her Chevy trailblazer (200,000 mi. and no major repairs). Blew up the transmission and transfer case.
Two weeks later we buy a 1987 Chevy conversion van, very clean and very well taken care of by a older lady and only 65,000 and change miles are on it.
We get it home I say Honey next trip into town stop and get a gallon of premixed anti-freeze and top off the radiator and overflow jug(it was a little low). Next trip into town she buys the anti-freeze. A week later one night when she came home from picking up the kids from school she said the van overheated and the oil light came on and was now running rough.

When I asked her if she put in the anti-freeze she said no.

When I asked her if she kept on driving when the lights came on she said yes.

I checked it out the next day and sure as sh1t blown head gaskets and the bottom end is noisy. With a new GM crate engine and parts I am now into this thing $2,250.00 plus purchase price. I hate the month of march. Did I mention I was also sick and missed work for 2 weeks with a 102 fever and respiratory infection!
