Yeah...it's hard not to like Sammy. It's a bummer he's gonna die... This doesn't have anything to do with that...but he has a fatal disease...so..he gets no more vet visits.

That's a bummer. Used up most their 9 lives. I'm sure Sammy has had a long fulfilled life and has been greatly cared for.

Not really...he's actually pretty young. But by Google..he should have died a month or two a ago.

The hard part is going to be when that day comes...because he won't just drop dead...he'll need help. And I don't think I want the vet involved...but it's going to be EXTREMELY difficult to do it myself.

A motorcycle ran over my favorite cat years ago, and it's still upsetting to this day. He was a rag doll cat. Super friendly. I understand the pain.

My ex wife used to keep somewhere between 15-20 cats around at all times. Yeah, I actually married the crazy cat lady. Some I counted among my friends, some disappeared. They can have some real personalities, but if I never have to have another cat it'll be too soon.

Well ...Sammy seems fine today...( his obnoxious old self...( I wouldn't have it any another way)...I will have to watch to see that his head doesn't swell up.)

I DO feel bad that I punched him on top of his head a few days ago. I couldn't figure out at the time why he freaked out so bad. (We play rough...but we don't want to REALLY hurt each other.) But even with the moderate tap I gave him, that must have been painful. And we weren't playing...he just ticked me off.
The only problem now is making sure no bacteria is still in there and his head doesn't puff up.

On a side note: I found 2 baby mice laying in the kitchen floor this morning? WEIRD !!!! I've been catching them in traps and throwing them in my snake cage....but...regardless, I've never seen anything like that before!

Man I love my job right now. Even though I'm using a backpack leaf blower mostly exclusively (used a zero turn walk behind once, it took me for a ride), it really doesn't feel like work, which is freakin awesome.

Best jobs in the world are jobs that don't feel like work.

I'm enjoying it, long as I'm off by 6pm. I start at 8am so, long as I'm at my 8 or so hours for the day I'm good. Hope the snow holds off for a couple more weeks, still trying to figure out how to get to work and get the old lady to work and off work on time.

So this pile of leaves in most parts was 3 feet or so deep, 15 feet wide and 40 feet long. All from the backyard of this house. Took about 3 hours to blow all the leaves into the pile and then 50 minutes to blow into the woods.

Reason for blowing all into the woods is, the path down into this spot is too narrow to get our John Deere Z950R zero turn mowers down there and too narrow for our John Deere Walk behind.

This is after.

According to NOAA, we are in for a very gusty day with 6"-12" of snow and whiteout conditions.

On the map, there's a county kind of shaped like a shoe, that's the county I'm in, and we have a 55% chance of snow. It's supposed to stay to our west/north west.
