My mom won't let me.
Well., this whole forum is a bunch of of frustrated old mem, most of which are meanies!

Just because a guy is young and smart, he's a jerk or something. I AM SMART! I WILL LAUGH AT YOU!

This MuckClumsy guy- whatta joke!

I've been lurking for a while, and haven't seen much out of him, except negativity. He probably lives with that Poboy guy.
Speaking of which: what an old obnoxious pathetic guy. I guess it speaks to this forum that so many dummies would think he was OK.

Hey who you calling old? I just turned 24 last month and have posted on here quite frequently. He might be a bit hard on people, but I still give the guy the respect he deserves.

I've heard he's out til mid December, no idea.

We're rather laid back here, we don't have many rules but, that post breaks one of them
"RESPECT OTHER MEMBERS!"

Now, you may say "no one shows me any respect", well, that's because you haven't done anything to earn our respect...

Since you've been here you've done nothing but antagonise everyone & added nothing of value to the forum; your obnoxious "I'm better than everyone else" attitude is beyond annoying; I already gave you one warning, this is your last...

Maybe you should spend some time in the real world, people are mean; we're not being mean... yet; if you don't like it here you are free to leave at any time...

So went to test drive a 2003 Ford Ranger at a stealership and it didn't go to well. I wanted to test the 4x4 on it just to make sure it would go in and out of 4x4 without issue and well...when I was at a light I stopped, put it in neutral and turned the knob from 2wd to 4high and it went, then on its own went to 4low. So I tried switching between all and nothing. Even shut the truck off to see if that would do it and nothing. So had to limp the truck back to the stealership. Truck has 129k miles on it and they dropped in a used engine in it that has 128k and supposedly a 3 year 300,000 mile warranty (I call BS on that). They were selling it for $7990. Not worth it. For that kind of cash I'd buy a full size truck.

Didn't even notice. They were warm inside anyway. But the guy was a leech anyway. Hate dealers, they're like an obsessive ex that is still clinging.

So we looked at a newly brought in 2004 Dodge Dakota quad cab 4x4 with a 4.7 v8 and liked it a lot. For starters the cab has a ton more room for the driver and front passenger. The 4x4 electronic shift on the fly works and comes out of it easily, unlike that ranger. Outside of some surface rust on the cab spot weld seems underneath, it's really clean. 121,408 miles on it. Really the only reason we didn't buy it today was, the dealer just got it in on Wednesday and hadn't gone through it was a supposed 125 point inspection. I mean outside of the steering being a bit stiff (might be low on PS fluid or rack might be leaking), it's really solid. Hopefully they'll fix what it needs and not wholesale it...cause I'm not sure if that means they won't sell it to us, even though we showed a lot of interest in it.

One thing I really hate about over head cam engines, they like to be revved to get going. So we may remedy it with a possible 5.7 Hemi swap. Personally, I'd like to go with a 6.4L 392 Hemi just cause. But the 345 will fit without issues... Long I can find a manual transmission to fit behind it or a better automatic.

The mountaineer is the girlfriend's ride, I just drove it cause it's the most dependable one here. The trailblazer loses coolant somehow and has a bad cooling fan sensor, plus the tires are absolute garbage in shinier and the 4x4 switch doesn't like to work.

The F150 has 278k miles, gets craptastic gas mileage (8mpg or less), leaks and burns coolant, has several misfiring cylinders. And the van...well I hate driving vans. Doesn't matter if it's a mini van or Econoline, forget it. None of the vehicles are in my name, just my dad's or girlfriend's. I'm only insured on the ones under my dad. My girlfriend was going to have me insured on her's but... It was going to get expensive really quick. Doesn't stop me from driving it. Long as I'm not a careless idiot and pay attention, it'll be fine.

Not shinier...was typing snow. Freakin auto correct.

So finally getting plowable snow now. Start work at 4am and go until we are done. Expecting about 6" or so worth. Means I have to leave by 3am or so to make it on time. Since Scott county and Dakota county suck at getting the roads plowed.

Sorry I start work at 4am tomorrow morning. So I'll be leaving around 3am or an hour before I start. No idea why we are starting that late. Snow won't stop until about midnight. Guess he wants us to have more sleep. So if I slept now it being 8:03pm, I'll get about 7 hours of sleep.

Roads are absolute garbage like I thought. The counties won't be out I'm guessing til about 5am. Department of Transportation is out getting the highways cleared.
