Ok so first before i continue.....what the heck is a mopane worm ?

Now moving ahead. I moved to florida almost 30 years and was there for ten. 90% of my friends and co-workers were born and raised floridian rednecks. Basically i had eaten everything they made. Possum, raccoon, turtle soup, rattlesnake, gator, squirrel meatballs, wild boar that we hunted, armadillo, theres probably more i cant remember.

So eat up guys

You forgot turtle....frogs....crawdads....and cats.....(we only eat them when we go to lunch at the Chinese buffet tho.......):lolgoku:

Oh.....and while I haven't eaten coons and possums.....I have eaten their water lovin rat cousins......nutria....tasty....

People forget Nutria and carp were brought into this country as food sources.....and can fullfill that role fairly well.....it's the stigma people have that holds them back......

Umm wow. Those are some big suckers.
What kind of flavor do they have ?

Chicken....:D

I have no idea....LOL. I refuse to eat them. There are some things that I will just not eat, and worms are one of them :D:D

They are not really that common around the area that I live though, and you cannot buy them in supermarkets either

Well today we were screwing around in the boily shop (welding w/s)

Playing cricket with what ever was nearby

Once the game was over every went back to work
Well exept one bloke that decided it was a good idea to frizbee a 14 inch chop saw blade across the workshop

Made contact with the top of my head
Didnt really hurt much more than a light knock on the head

But then enough blood to fake a decapitation

All good now head wounds just bleed loads for a small cut

The biggest issue is the supivisor has found out and now we gotta do an incident report and we're try to work out how to word
"Boilermaker launched disc at head"
And make it sound legit

the company policy states that we must wear saftey glasses at all times

Ironically if I was wearing them incorectly
Ie on my head
Then id be ok

Pics to come later

OK, first, shame on yo uall for playing when you should've been working...

Second, what kind of moron thinks it's ever a good idea to launch a saw blade across a workshop?

Now, how do you "explain" it? You were laying down searching for a bolt under a piece of large machinery (I dunno, a lathe) when your coworker walked past carrying the saw blade, which slipped out of his hand & hit you in the head...

Will that work? :lolgoku:

:funnypost: Hey Doug!!! Here's a question that I bet a lot of folks around here have; why do you seem to assume that everyone else has the same mental health issues that you have?

The sad/sick part is that I'm probably going to regret voicing it for everyone else...... :surrender: :ack2: :ack2: :ack2:

Haha

Lucky im thick

It might be hard to tun with the lathe story
The biggest question there would be where did u find a lathe

He got a verbal warning in the end
And now they forget about it
