  :surrender: :surrender:

I'm sorry, correct me if I'm wrong, but did you just say that you've put who knows how much effort into a cool chassis, and you haven't yet gotten the drive train to the point where you could even fire it up, let alone test it?????????

Personally, I'd make sure I has a drive train that would work, and design and build the body around that.....

No confidence? How the heck would i test it without the whole thing built? Its just a riding mower engine and tranny that I know work. What else is there to test? everything with the tracks can be fiddled with later. the only other thing is the belt clutch system which can also be fiddled with later. Everything is accessable so I can make changes later if I have to. No problem.

This thing looks sick

But from what Iv been looking on YouTube builds
People have issues with drive train weight

And from a limited play with mower trannys
Torque is their weak point

Hope it works and it has the look going for it

It should work fine. When I was a kid, my Dad had a Magna-Trak Bulldozer that was pretty much exactly what this build is.

im not going to be pushing 500lb rocks around either. the tank isnt much heavier than the tractor it came out of. I opened up the transaxle today to check it out. Looks really good nice heavy diff in it. I dont think itll have a problem

I got it running and tested the transaxle and brakes. All seems to work sofar. I had trouble with the fuel pump putting too much pressure to the carb so I put a bypass on it like I had to do on my mini jeep bt now it runs good. Still need to finish one drive cog and put on the rear wheels before i can put the tracks on and drive it. but the hood is painted and ready to go on. Still need to do the seat upholstery and mount a battery and finish the wiring and console but the lights are wired to the console so thats a start.
