i may make some lock collars, by drilling a 3/4" hole in some 1 1/2" or so bar, and then tapping a 6mm hole in it, for an m6 to screw up tight on.

sounds easy, just make sure you dont bugger your shaft with something homebrew.

for a 6.5 and 40 series, it may seem sluggish but will get you a good speed, and will always have the option of more power later down the road

better becuase the tav2 is rated 3-8 hp

Shouldnt be sluggish, may rob a little power but probably not noticeable.

ok, shes all fixed up, but when i started, she would only start choked, and was bumpy at idle/ killed randomly. there is a noise when you pull the pullstart, like something is shattered inside, and i thought mabie the governor gear fell off when i disconnected the throttle, and is mashed up?

if i did remove the gov. would i have to do anything to a stock engine, or is there something else stopping it rev too high?

the governer governs engine speed,if its gone your running the throttle directly

i found a pawl missing from my recoil, and a nut by the ignition coil(i think this caused the problem?) does a gx200 flywheel have 1 magnet or 2?
