Robin i hate to kill your sale man but most ride on mower wheels are weak and dont have bearings (just greased bushings) so they would not hold up too well in a kart.

Cant wait to see this thing in action man, make sure you remember to post a vid soon.

sorry no vid, my wheel fell off again :roflol:

work we did over the weekend-
1. new front c brackets, which re a lot stronger, and make the steering mutch better. also we mounted the steering pole thing on the top of the kart instead of the bottom, for more clearance

2. smack a hole in the crank case. dont ask. we repaired it with some leak fix which hasnt leaked so far!

If an engine is mounted on rubber, it is not going to move around the way people think. You mount some kind of rubber, bushings, to the frame and engine. When you tighten the engine down it will be tight enugh that it doesnt move. However the rubber still acts as an anti vibration feature. The engine will still rev JUST as high. it doesnt matter what angle its at(unless its upsidedown) Mounting an engine on rubber will rev out just as high and work just fine. Go ahead and try it .

Your tires' bearings are going to fall out / wobble like a mother ****er in like 20mins of riding it. I suggest you get proper bearings/reinforce where the casing joins the hub since its only pressed on

I don't normally do that, but that was just shockingly bad.

here u g guys, sorry, about 9 hours late.
btw, the keyway is ground with a grinder, on jackshaft, and on engine shim bushing thingy... oh yeah, spacer!
in the suspension vid, with the front suspension, i mean below the galvy sheet, not above, with the metal. and in the upgrade vid, i mean the bearing above, not below the square box meant the chain is too tight.
sorry for the crappy quality, i have a 2mp camera on my mobile.

I had the same q. I emailed comet about it and asked if it performs the same ( overdrive etc) and If I would keep my top end speed, they said it's the same exact thing as the 30 series TAV2 only its made to withstand more power.

Yea that confused me too. It also has a bigger driven unit so maybe it will accelerate better than a 30 series too.
