They don't look like they have much travel, and are probably too lightly sprung for an off road kart.

here are some headlights i made. they are 50w each, and run of a 12v 5ah battery. in the pics, the one of the actual headlight, it is a lot brighter than the camera shows, and the one of the power, it is a bit darker. btw, its of only 1 of 2 lights.

cheers. i bent them using a pear shaped wooden mallet and a sandbag. they took a few weeks going in every other day to d.t for an hour. they are green, as you cant see from the pics. i will post more pics soon. btw, i ordered a 16t sprocket for the jackshaft, and it came today. my kart will be running hopefully by nxt sunday.
question. how do you hold the tq converter driven pulley in place, as there is no set screw.

driven is held by a threaded nut, usually

heheh good point! dont have a pic handy, the driven is normally squeezed onto a shaft with a nut on each end to hold everything in place.

ok, are the nuts built in? could a locking clooarbe used?

lock collars can be used, the bore of the driven is smooth

i think the shaft diameter is 5/8 keyed
