Oh so it was running at idle but wont rev up. Must be starving for gas or have a vacuum leak. May just need the fuel air screw adjusted. The flathead screw on the left side of the carb. Turn it all the way in the back out 2 and 1/4 turns.

Also, without the stock airbox, you will need larger jets to get to fuel ratio right. Since you have that red single stage filter on there you may have too much air and not enough fuel.

Oh okay. Yeah it starts but then dies out even if i give it gas. I changed the mixture screw but still the same.

Have you let it idle until warm? the electric choke may get stuck (if it has one) on you can try unplugging it to see what happens.

Iteont stay idling. I turn the key it idles for a bit then it kills the engine by itself. Alright i will unplug it and see what happens. The plug in from the new one feels lose but connects fine so i might put the old one back on the new carb. It still does the same. It revs real high then kills itself.

Could be a clogged jet. Even if the carb is new there could have been some debris in the fuel. I'd take a look at the jets just to be sure.

You could try taking off the filter and then cover 3/4 of the intake on the carb to manually choke it and see if it runs like that

Alright.. did that and gas started coming out where the air filter goes. Started it again and saw white smoke come out from somewhere.

OK since your hand got gas on it that means you're getting fuel to the carb fine. Most likely you have a spark issue. If you check spark is it blue, white, or orange colored?

Idling up and down sounds like a vacuum leak. I'm not sure if what lines this engine would have though. Are there any hoses that are open or not connected?

Did you try swapping out the choke? There should be a hose from the intake manifold to the carb and if there is a T connector in it, the other line has to go to something or be plugged off.
