Wonder if it could be the cdi? Or would changing the main jet size would help any or changing vales to a lower setting.

Im just trying to rule out anything else. I'm going to buy the CDI anyways and the manifold and a new petcock.

Well after a few days i put my fully charged battery back on and it started right up! No back firing or shutting off randomly like it was. Thanks so much! Now i can go riding again! :D

Front disc brakes get a bit hot and the emergancy brake doesn't work as well since the go kart starts to slowly move forward but still happy it runs and drives fine:) Better then it was when i first bought it.

Emergency brake probably needs adjusted or cable replaced. Disc brakes may need pads or they could just be undersized. The forward creep is probably because the idle is high.
Glad to hear you got it running though!

Oh for anyone who has this problem if u plug the vaccim line you have to take off the thick hose that goes to the crankcase to the side of the carb or it wont run. I put it back on and it wouldnt start so just make sure that hose is disconnected.
