I dont think he could move the engine back.
If there is allowance, and not too much of a degree of angle for the chain to derail, I'd say move the jackshaft forward as much as it needs to maintain a good tension on both chains. Clamp it down where it lies. (The bolt holes in the plate might need to be elongated a slight bit.)

I say this as my bike I built runs this exact setup( the jackshaft as the tensioner). The shaft is slightly angled, not by much, and as to have significant wear on the chains or the sprockets.

I understand your point but, once the J/S to axle chain is tensioned & there is still slack in the engine to J/S chain, the engine will need to be moved...

That's assuming the jackshaft remains parallel to the motor shaft. I'm saying just allow the shaft to move where it wants to lie, and at a slight angle it will be.

So I fixed the problem with chain tension, I will post pictures tomorrow. Another problem bugs me, when I ride it like 30 minutes it loses power. Carb issue is still there, I need to buy a new needle and hope it will work

So I fixed the carburetor problem, only thing that considers me is that carb is from 6 hp 2 stroke engine. Engine was completely disassembled becouse I needed to change the bearings on the crankshaft. I'm missing a piston pin, I couldn't find one that fits.

First picture shows how someone hit the wall or something and caster on that wheel is not good, someone didn't weld it back the way used to be. Second picture shows tube that carries the engine and that part needs to be changed asap because engine is tilted about 5 mm. Third picture shows how I connected two cables for the carburetor.

Finally! I was able to find the same carburetor as originally on my engine, it's from higher hp than mine but it will be a donator for original carb. In my previous posts I was missing float and needle and now I have it. Tomorrow is testing day

Today I changed the pipe that holds other two pipes that holds the engine. Engine got new sprocket, floater in the carburetor does his job

I need advice, bolt on the picture tighten the same way engine turns. After some time it unbolts and falls down. Any suggestions how to solve this, maybe with compressior airgun?

I don't think it is a good idea to drill through crankshaft, I will only make it weaker
