So I think I'm pretty much finished with the kart, it runs great only if I can get my hands on some cheap hydraulic brakes. This one works fine but that's not it, I have to push it hard to brake hard. And if I can make or adapt some kind of gearbox that would be awesome

Great job Miky...I never doubted you'd get it done for a minute...sorry to hear your brakes aren't quite right....but you'll sort it out.

EDIT: And THANK YOU for joining the forum and sharing!

Rear scooter brakes will do the job.

For cca 100kn on njuskalo..

Do not buy too strong cose will lock rear axle easily and there is no good effect but causing spin and flatspotting tyre...

And try to avoid front brakes from scooters as their front discs are bigger than gokarts ..

Still waiting for video..

But great job !!!

Like your plates :p

What to say, bad bearing on crankshaft again, I already changed one but now other one is making sounds that I don't like. Connecting rod is at machinist, it needs new copper bushing. And I'm worried because piston has some play in cylinder.
