What do you think, with or without bumpers?
I think I will leave only front and rear.
Brake caliper is the best thing on it.

I don't like huge plastic bumpers (not even front or rear),
but that's a personal preference, not advice ;)
if you like them, they do help if you hit something.

-brake caliper-?
LOL, it kinda is, care to post some close ups, so that we can see it better?

I could handle a 30, but the back end would raise. My cousin put on a 23 hp turbo twin on his big body.

Yeah, it most likely could take 30 hp, except the back end would lift the front, and the control would be difficult. My cousin put a 23 hp turbo twin on his big boned kart, and the front end would shoot up when he hit the gas half way.

That thing is AWESOME!

Love it.. am I seeing that right.. purely mechanical contraption?
and scissor with NO angle compensation on the brake pads?
That's insanely stupid (but a good reason for that looooooong caliper, to keep the angle small)
Well.. you'd need to watch your brake closely for wear (the edges will be gone first)

but don't ever replace it, if you have to.. drop me a line (you know why ;))

I thought it was the same thing, thanks.
So I will use centrifugal clutch and I want acceleration before speed.
What size sprockets do I need, engine is 8hp governed at 3600 rpm, rims are 5 inch, I don't know height of the tires. Frame weights 61 kilograms and I have 75 kilograms.

well.. it's safe to assume that the sprocket that is installed was driven by a gx270 or alike, with a 2:1 wet clutch

So, multiply by two (for the axle sprocket) and install a ten tooth clutch and you should be at least close to the ideal gear ratio :D

The sprocket on the axle is 32 tooth and tire height is 27 centimeters.

remove the front wheel; put the angle onto the spindle and measure towards the upper edge of the spindle bracket... that way your floor isn't important anymore ;)
